Story
Since 1950's, humanity has made incredible progress exploring space and Solar system. With NASA Artemis Moon to Mars Program and many leaders, nearby habitable worlds provide a path toward sustaining future humans and life with bountiful resources. Venus also has similar mass and gravity (8.87 m/s² or 90.5% of 1G), with similar climate in clouds.
Founded in 2019, MultiPlanet University (MPU) is an international research and nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing research, science, and systems on Earth, in-space, and planetary bodies. MPU is a student-lead, democratic, member-based U.S. nonprofit guided by the team and Board of Trustees. MPU has an emphasis on applied research, programs, and expeditions providing hands on experiences in the field.
Challenges
Discovering, navigating, and sustaining systems in-space, on planets and in habitable environments requires significant research, time, and resources in advance. Nearby worlds could also provide a second biosphere, overcome global catastrophes, and sustain the kingdoms of life.
