Skills/Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master's degree in science, physics, math, space/planetary science, or technical field

• Background in space/planetary sciences, aerospace, satellites, astrophysics, R&D, publications, etc​

• Proven track record exceeding in publishing and communication complex science

• Demonstrated track record of progress and traction with R&D project  and securing funding

• Competency with programming languages of software of choice to advance R&D

Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and promote Research and development (R&D) project of mutual interest

• Identify and engage with potential collaborators, sponsors,partners to support and promote research

• Identify, write, and manage grant proposals as PI/Co-I and research budgets

•  Advise undergraduate and graduate students and staff

• One-year term appointment with the possibility of annual renewals 

• Option to expand into other roles at the University

• Support and contribute to the Founding team
